Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira date and time as MMA star makes PFL debut

Francis Ngannou will return to the world of mixed martial arts this weekend, fighting Renan Ferreira in the Professional Fighters League (PFL).

The fight for the PFL heavyweight title marks Ngannou’s first fight in the sport since January 2022. On that occasion, Cameroonian Ciryl Gane proposed retaining the UFC heavyweight title, a year before he left the promotion.

Ngannou, 38, made his professional boxing debut last October by defeating then-champion Tyson Fury in a stunning scene in Saudi Arabia – only to lose via a controversial decision.

Ngannou then boxed again in March but was unable to trouble Anthony Joshua in the same way. “AJ” dropped Ngannou three times and secured the second-round knockout, a sobering moment for the “Predator.”

As Ngannou’s boxing adventure developed, he signed a contract with the PFL, setting up his MMA return. And this weekend it’s finally coming. Here you will find everything you need to know.
