He joined Celtic under Neil Lennon in July 2010 to great fanfare, with a transfer fee of around £3.5 million at the time.

That’s because 14 years later, this former Hoops hero is managing Rangers hero Alfredo Morelos in Colombia, while the former Ibrox sharpshooter tries to get on the right track at Atlético Nacional.
It has certainly been an eventful time for the club, with Morelos and co recently forced to leave their home ground fearing for his safety when machete-wielding fans rushed from the stands during a clash with FC Junior.
While he ended up working with one ranger Hero, Juarez initially became friends with an ex Celtic star in the form of Ronny Deila.
Juarez first worked with Valerenga and became part of Deila’s team at New York FC, then Standard Liège and Club Brugge.
But he took the chance hit plays alone at Atlético Nacional this August.
That was just a month after Alfredo Morelos left his camp after a grim time there Santos where the Brazilian giants were relegated.
And it’s an agreement that appears to be bearing fruit, at least on the pitch – Morelos scored TWO goals for the Medellin-based side against Envigado in midweek, even if there were no fans there to watch.
Atletico Nacional is currently in fourth place in the Colombian top flight, six points behind leaders America de Cali.
