Red Bull appear to be fixing their performance issues and have brought updates to Austin to remedy the situation Max Verstappen wins his first race since the Spanish GP.
However, both of them are Ferraris from Carlos Sainz And Charles Leclerc seemed to have the edge over the Dutchman as the pair were leading in FP1 in P1 and P2 respectively.
Williams pair is called up to the US GP by the FIA
In lieu of a second practice session, sprint qualifying will replace Friday’s FP2 as the grid battles for pole for Saturday’s sprint around COTA.
However, one team suffered a setback over the weekend, including the Williams pair Franco Colapinto And Alex Albon were called to the stewards after a violation in Austin.

Both drivers did not appear on time for the drivers’ meeting and were therefore summoned to the sports commissioners.
The pair or team is unlikely to receive a serious penalty for the breach, but could face a fine, warning or reprimand.
At the previous race in Singapore, the Williams drivers endured a tense moment after Colapinto’s first-lap dive took down Albon from the inside, leaving his teammate frustrated at his actions.
However, team boss James Vowles remains happy with his line-up and Colapinto impressed on his Formula 1 debut.
