Although Rohit Sharma was expected to leave Mumbai and possibly join RCB, Kolkata or elsewhere, as per the rumors doing the rounds, that doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment.

Interestingly, all other teams, barring Punjab, appear to be on track to exercise their right to retain five players. Punjab seems to have decided to retain just four players.

October 31st marks the last date for retaining players and that is when a crisis could arise. There’s going to be some serious drama and rollercoaster rides over the next 10 days or so.
